It has come to my attention that parts of the site look too bright or
washed out on many systems. To make a long story short, hardware
problems and compensating for them have resulted in my settings
being way off. Things looked more or less fine at this end but
gradually got worse elsewhere. To that end, many pages/photos
will gradually be revamped and improved with adjusting, tweaking,
cleaning up and to a lesser extent rescanning (ideally, but takes
too long and not getting paid for my time to do this).

Adjustment updates only
June 18, 2004 - Adjusted some of the main menu pages to tidy things up.
June 20, 2004 - Adjusted/rescanned 2004 Emerald Cup pages/photos to
reflect new settings. Should be much better.
June 21, 2004 - Adjusted the 2004 Western Canadians (a second time with
a bit more sophistication) as experimenting with what works best. I've
left the small thumbnails as is for now - they'll look somewhat off...
June 24, 2004 - Adjusted Ocean Bloom & Patty Marciano (Main Galleries)
June 26, 2004 - Quick fix on Sharyn Lynne Browne Fraser (Main Galleries).
These were taken at the same venue as the BC Provincials to be held later
today (it's just past midnight - here's hoping we'll have marvelous lighting!)
September 3, 2004 - Adjusted the 2003 Northern Gold's Classic pics to
reflect new settings. Great stage lighting in that theater!
September 11, 2004 - Adjusted the Intro Page and the Fitness/Figure
pages of the 2003 Jr. Nationals. For the most part, there are no
sliced images on those pages, just big files...the rest, one of
these days.
September 19, 2004 - Adjusted the 2003 Washington Ironman pics just
in time for the 2004 show which will be in 2 weeks. The thumbnails were
batch adjusted in PS7 with decent results (trying software features).
September 19, 2004 - Tinkered a bit more with Antonia Grady's page and
files from the 2004 Western Canadians, final version we think :)
October 30, 2004 - Adjusted the 2003 BC pics some time ago but had
not gotten around to uploading them. Bit easier on the eyes.
April 25, 2005 - Adjusted Marnie Power gallery (48)
and Bev Treichel gallery (47)
May 2005 - Adjusted numerous of the Main Galleries,
down to No. 25 except for No. 27 which
needs an actual rescan.
June 30, 2005 - Adjusted the 2002 Washington Ironman pics.
July 10, 2005 - Adjusted the 2002 Washington State pics.

There are a bunch of shows this year (2007) in various stages of coverage
completion - from Vancouver Naturals to Washington Ironman. I'll do my best to revisit them over the winter.
Depends how much time I can devote to it as well as taking into account 'suggestions'.
There have been a lot of great competitors who deserve more than just a mention in the standings.

It's an 'all laptop' effort with considerable
consternation over the past week to get everything
looking right in both CRT monitor and LCD screen.
A lot of starting from scratch involved. Bottom line
is a bit darker picture but I hope it's a happy
medium. All in an effort to take this show on the
road :) Feedback welcome particularly when it
comes to sharpness - that's where the two types
of screens can't really be reconciled.
