We first saw Ginny almost a year earlier at the Oregon Ironman just getting a feel for the
sport - placed 6th. Since then, a lot more confident look onstage and after a warmup show
(Vancouver Naturals) where she was still not quite lean and hard, she put it all together
here beautifully and in definite contention for the class title. In her own words..."
I entered the NPC Figure arena in 2007, just four months after the birth of my first child.
Preparing for figure competition initially began as a personal journey to test my capabilities
and drop a bit of baby weight. What I discovered was a passion for the sport and a competitive
drive that challenges me to strive for a new personal best with each competition. I am motivated
and inspired by many amazing athletes in this industry. I strive to be a role model and
spokesperson for women in my community and throughout the country - to pursue their fitness goals.
I train with the iPhysique team, led by IFBB Figure Pro, Kristi Tauti. My current plan includes
prepping for the 2008 USA Figure Championships."
