Figure - Short/Masters (35-39) Classes
One competitor who caught my attention even before anybody in figure took to the stage was
Bowen Island's Fawn Gill. I'd describe her as the most 'accomplished' physique
here, not because she's reached her goals in the sport or anything, but because
she's attained a maturity of development from a career in the fitness field not seen
at this level of competition. She placed 5th in the open short class, but more
importantly, her third place in Masters qualifies her for Provincials. Expect her to
take what she's learned from this experience and apply it to the next level. As a
gym owner and personal trainer, she's well suited to excel in the sport. More
