2025 NPC Tanji Johnson Classic Women's Physique and Figure Championships (Tacoma, WA - June 21, 2025) Back in Tacoma, Washington for this show...the venue connected to the host hotel, The Greater Tacoma Convention Center. Figure saw last year's Champion Teren Choate successfully defend her title, a year of growth to further progress in the sport...she was also this year's Emerald Cup Overall winner! Of note with nice proportionality was Sadie Thurner, just starting out...the sky's the limit. Giving Teren a good challenge was Masters Figure/WPD competitor Pam Edamura, nice muscle shape and definition, she won the Open in Women's Physique. Nice routine from Ardith Daly, winning Best Poser. A huge thanks to Tanji Johnson and her entire crew for putting on such a well run event. It's a continued privilege to be able to cover and publicize these shows for decades now.
