2016 Today's Techniques Northern Classic
Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships
(Fort St. John, B.C. - June 18, 2016)
Celebrating it's 15th year, Fort St. John welcomed over 100 entries to this outstanding competition! Promoter Jeni
Briscoe balanced prepping for 2 IFBB Pro shows (one a week earlier in Alaska, the other in July in Vancouver) with
putting on one of the best run shows around. This is always a good precursor of upcoming BC Provincials and it certainly
didn't disappoint! Starting with bikini, A and B class winners Tonya Olson and Amanda Ancheta proved muscle is 'in' as
far as conditioning goes. Nice comeback for stylish Chanel Brar in C Class while photogenic Janelle Shelfow took D Class.
So many other notables including stunning Ivanna Kozychko and Lisa Linteris (Masters Class too).

Figure always brings someone to the forefront, in this case Overall Winner Christine Wallace who truly is a chameleon in this sport, always striving to the
look of a particular division and keeping it edgy. Moves well onstage, so graceful. B Class Top 3 all had nice tapered figure looks, Shauna Marie's size and
fullness saw her win her class. Some serious potential in A Class runner up Sharmayne Owen, has terrific shape to build on and further refine.

With Provincials coming up in a few short weeks, a number of Men's Bodybuilding competitors are making a statement, Stephen Didoshak and Landonn Miller in particular.
And don't forget ripped Camil Jimenez, who took not only Middleweights, but his class in Classic Physique. Speaking of which John Le's very aesthetic look won the
day in Overall Classic Physique, and in Men's Physique, ever improving and a Provincials threat Nate Cassie, brought a very polished presentation to the stage.
Turning to Women's Physique, Karen Dallas performed a beautiful routine as usual and nice to see Roberta Nechvatal find her niche.

One of the nicest surprises though
was Overall Women's Physique Champ Alyssa Coppolino. Having moved from Ontario a year ago, Alyssa sported amazing symmetry and proportions along with beautiful
muscle shape to 'Wow' the crowd! To quote Alyssa "A Personal Trainer & Online Coach looking for new opportunities and a new perspective! Loving the BC air and the
people around me!" She's made quite an impact already!
