2025 NPC Legion Sports Fest
Wellness & Fit Model Championships
(Reno, Nevada - June 1, 2025)
Third time for this reporter/photographer to cover the Legion Sports Fest, ostensibly the IFBB Pro League divisions for Muscle Insider.
Stumbling onto a VERY impressive NPC show was quite the bonus! Wellness featured a star in the making in Alexis Herrera, watch for her
down the road.

IFBB Wellness Pro Kassandra Gillis presented the Overall Trophy. One of a few greats in the sport who were
present and conducted seminars and meet and greets at the Expo.
Of note was runner-up to Alexis in a couple of classes, Esmeralda Cruz with a good Wellness look as well.

The new category of Fit Model has been developing new 'names to note' in the sport. Lauren Lovato and Rosalinda Balmer placed one-two in Novice and won their
respective Open Classes. Both have stage presence to spare! A good field in general, hopefully the division is growing.

A huge thanks to the entire Center Podium crew and promoter Chris Minnes for putting on such a stellar event.
An absolute pleasure to cover, hopefully we'll be back next year.
