2025 NPC Legion Sports Fest Bikini Championships (Reno, Nevada - June 1, 2025) Third time for this reporter/photographer to cover the Legion Sports Fest, ostensibly the IFBB Pro League divisions for Muscle Insider. Once again stumbling onto a VERY impressive NPC show was quite the bonus! Starting with Bikini, a full slate with 6 Open Classes for starters. Some real standouts including first time competitors. Taking the Open/Novice Overall titles was Endria Ruiz, a complete physique...good size and shape. Runner-up to her in Open 'E' Class was Wendy Miles, nice conditioning...a tough class. Of note in the Open Division was Hailey Franklin, poised onstage with beautiful lines, I think the best she's ever looked onstage! Another Open/Novice Class winner was Kristy Lopez (below), runner-up in Masters 35+ to Kaitlin Sanck, another standout. A good showing for Jessica Reed in both Novice and Open. In the photogenic department and posing impeccably onstage (coached in that department by IFBB Pro Hope Harper) ...and with a nice balanced look was Savannah Santos (below) in her very first NPC show. A huge thanks to the entire Center Podium crew and promoter Chris Minnes for putting on such a stellar event. An absolute pleasure to cover, hopefully we'll be back next year.
