2017 BCABBA Knight of Champions
Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships
(Surrey, B.C. - Sept. 9, 2017)
The third year running for this Provincial Qualifier, now seasoned promoter Tamara Knight put on a very well run event. Approximately
100 individual competitors took to the stage, a good number doing multiple classes and disciplines, a good way to see where one fits
in going forward. As usual, Bikini is a very popular category, nicely proportioned Tricia Buono taking the open overall title. Of
note was Nicole Downie winning her class, requalifying for BC's and making a statement...Amanda Koop, the Masters Champion will be
a threat in Open as well, in the vein of last year's winner Jodi Andrews.

Figure 'A' Class and Open Overall Champ Shelbi-Lynn Dyck has a frame built for this division, a very deserving award. Lisa Helin,
Masters Figure Overall winner has good size and muscle shape.

Classic Physique is certainly becoming a spectator favorite, and Overall winner Calvin Youttitham exemplified the graceful posing
associated with this division.

This was a novice show, which qualifies for the BC Provincials to be held in July in Vancouver.
