2017 NPC Arctic Muscle Fest
Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships
(Anchorage, Alaska - June, 24, 2017)
Held in conjunction with the 2nd Annual IFBB Arctic Pro show, the main impetus for this reporter to head way up north, the amateur
portion of this event did not dissapoint. Repeating what we said last year, promoters Shawn and Cinzia Clapp of Alaska Muscle
took on the challenge to combine these events and came through with flying colors. A bit smaller turnout, but some key "names of note". Starting
with bikini, Brittany Blake brought her best look to the stage so far, and when you combine the improved muscle lines with her always top notch
stage presence, will always be a top contender. Keeping with the stunning blonde mode, "B" class winner Jade Derossett looked super comfortable
onstage, we did an impromptu photoshoot after the "evening" show...the sun was still out at 10pm and not setting any time soon it seemed!

Figure saw outstanding shape in Overall Champ Janee Deacon, great potential there and a great attitude and
exuberance exhibited onstage! Bodybuilding/Men's Classic Physique was dominated by Vahn Ki, whose wife Tammy
had a terrific figure look, winning the Masters Class.
